With another blizzard welcoming it’s way into Maine this evening, I thought I would share a session that literally took place in the middle of a blizzard right before the holidays! When Anne asked me to do her family photos at a christmas tree farm, I was instantly excited. Adorable family, christmas trees, snow… perfection! At the same time, I was instantly nervous. Photographing another photographer (yes, I’m talking about the Anne behind Anne Schmidt Photography – fabulous work, check her out!) is always a bit daunting, especially when it’s blowing around snow and the wind chill is below zero. Add in an almost 3 year old, and you’ve got a lot of challenges rolled into one! But when all was said and done, their session turned out to be one of my favorites of 2013. We had a great time with loads of laughs, even more warm car breaks, and plenty of donuts for the little one. 🙂 Here are some of my favorite images!
Thank you, Anne and Josh, for having me capture your darling little family last year, and for being such troopers in the wintery conditions! I hope you all stay warm (and inside) during this blizzard! 😉
