With another blizzard welcoming it’s way into Maine this evening, I thought I would share a session that literally took place in the middle of a blizzard right before the holidays! When Anne asked me to do her family photos at a christmas tree farm, I was instantly excited. Adorable family, christmas trees, snow… perfection! At the same time, I was instantly nervous. Photographing another photographer (yes, I’m talking about the Anne behind Anne Schmidt Photography – fabulous work, check her out!) is always a bit daunting, especially when it’s blowing around snow and the wind chill is below zero. Add in an almost 3 year old, and you’ve got a lot of challenges rolled into one! But when all was said and done, their session turned out to be one of my favorites of 2013. We had a great time with loads of laughs, even more warm car breaks, and plenty of donuts for the little one. :) Here are some of my favorite images!
Thank you, Anne and Josh, for having me capture your darling little family last year, and for being such troopers in the wintery conditions! I hope you all stay warm (and inside) during this blizzard! ;)

Thought I would share another newborn session with you all today! This sweet family has been a DBP supporter since my portfolio building days, and I can’t tell you how much they mean to me. I have so loved watching big brother Mason grow from an itty bitty newborn into a handsome, loving kid, and now… a big brother! Brody, a little chub compared to his brother as a newborn, was such a good baby for his session! Keep scrolling to see for yourself. :)
So adorable, right?! Can’t thank you enough for sharing your precious Brody with me, mom and dad. I looove watching your family change over the years, and am so thankful that you’ve allowed me to document so many milestones!

Hello! It’s about time I got back on the blogging train to share some of my favorite 2013 sessions with you all on here! First up, this incredibly sweet little lady at only four days of age. Camrynn was an absolute rockstar at her newborn session! Sleepy, curly, and come on… those CHEEKS. Adore! Her mama requested a yellow and purple color scheme, so I had a blast styling this session!
So happy to have been able to capture these first fleeting moments for you, mom and dad! Thank you for trusting me with your precious girl!
*Remember, if you are pregnant and interested in having me capture your little one’s first photos, be sure to contact me sooner rather than later! Newborn sessions take place within the first 10 days after the baby is born at my studio in downtown Bangor, Maine. :)
