My favorite headband/accessory maker, Willow Crowns, asked me to do a product shoot last summer with her and her daughter, and it was a total blast. I love these headbands not only for my itty bitty newborn clients to accessorize with in the studio, but also for making my personal messy top knot more fashionable! I thought it would be a good time to fiiiinally blog the photos because today (like in 20 minutes!) is the day that they are launching the Willow Crowns 2015 Summer Collection, and I am in LOVE with the sneak peeks I’ve seen already. Don’t miss out, this Floral Crown and Sloan Lace headband are just two of the pretty things in their shop everyday, but they will have limited supplies of the summer line and it launches on willowcrowns.com at 11am EST!
Happy shopping, friends!

This session happened over a year ago, but I love it so much, and I am pretty darn excited to finally blog it. You may think this adorable family looks familiar, and that’s probably because this is my third session with them! This time, they frolicked in the snow instead of a field, sipped hot cocoa, and played on a sled. It was a total blast and these photos make me almost forget how chilly that white stuff piling up outside actually is!
Love love love. Thank you so much for having me capture more family photos for you all!

Thanks to the recent blizzard, we officially have plenty of snow here in Maine, and it’s inspired me to hoard blankets, stay inside, edit, and update the blog on my day off. So why not start with an outdoor winter wedding?! Victoria, Michael, and their two sweet kiddos celebrated their big day last March in the White Mountains in Jackson, New Hampshire. (If you’ve never been to the White Mountains, GO. It is a stunning area, and I cannot wait to go back someday!). They got ready and said their vows at Whitney’s Inn, and celebrated with their loved ones right next door at the Shovel Handle Pub. We were lucky enough to get an exceptionally lovely winter day, fully loaded with mild temperatures, bright yet overcast skies, and yes… “snow globe snow” for the ceremony! When I look back at these photos, I still can’t believe how perfect everything about their day was. Hope you enjoy a peek into their wedding story. :)
Vikki is a hair stylist, so she did her own hair for her wedding! Talk about talent…!
Victoria + Michael: your day was SO beautiful and I am honored you chose me to document it! Hope married life is treating you wonderfully. :)
